Ken Paxton Spent the Fourth of July in England With His Alleged Mistress

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton spent America's 250th birthday weekend across the Atlantic — not on the campaign trail back home, but reportedly in the company of his alleged mistress. Paxton was photographed walking through London near the London Eye alongside Christian influencer Tracy Duhon, identified in multiple reports as Paxton's alleged mistress of roughly two years.

The London sighting wasn't Paxton's only overseas stop. Days earlier, he and Duhon

were seen boarding a flight from Washington, D.C.'s Dulles International Airport to Reykjavik, Iceland. Texas Democratic Party spokesman Ryan Martin argued the timing couldn't have been worse: "At a time when many Texans can barely afford to pay the rent or fill up the tank because of policies Ken Paxton supports, he's jetting off to Iceland ahead of America's 250th birthday, for a fancy vacation with his mistress," Martin said.

Paxton remains legally married to State Sen. Angela Paxton, though the two have been separated since she filed for divorce last July. Paxton's campaign did not respond to a request for comment on either trip, and Paxton has not publicly addressed the relationship.

The overseas travel comes as Paxton and Democratic state Rep. James Talarico head toward a tight November matchup; Talarico briefly noted the destination's symbolism on social media, pointing out that Paxton spent the anniversary of America's independence from Britain in the U.K. itself.
